The Rat Palace was the result of a collaboration between artists sharing a studio/band rehearsal space in Hobart - affectionately known as "The Rat Palace". The Opening of the exhibition featured local band The Scandal, who were also part of the "Rat Palace". The painting covered the back wall of Entrepot Gallery and is 3m x 12m in 36 sections.
